Ludic Alive

Ludic Alive is an ambitious live-concert broadcast produced by the association that Timéo Binda belongs to. As Executive Producer and showrunner of the video production, Timéo brought Paul Marchiset in three years ago to help with a simple recording. Since then it has grown into a highly professional multicam production on a demanding one-day turnaround: in a single day our team rigs the equipment, performs color calibration, delivers a three-hour live broadcast and strikes the gear. The workflow features professional vision mixers, remote-controlled PTZ cameras and a remote operating station, with recent editions adding a roving wireless (HF) camera on stage and a drum top-shot — all aimed at a premium, cinematic live recording. As Co-Producer and Live Multicam Director, I bridge technical deployment and artistic execution. I make sure the camera rig and signal routing match our technical schematic, including video-feedback screens so musicians can see the live broadcast. We partner with a professional sound engineer for the dedicated audio mix, while I handle camera shading to harmonize colorimetry across several camera brands. During the show I direct the live cut — controlling visual pace and framing while communicating constantly by walkie-talkie with on-stage and remote operators. Whether adjusting a shot, managing wireless interference or troubleshooting a feed on the fly, I keep the visual experience seamless from start to finish.
