Breaking the fourth wall to find the truth behind the anachronism

#ABOUT
Produced within the intense 48-hour timeframe of the 48h du court métrage, L'insubmersible is an experimental narrative that explores the tension between destiny and choice. The project required rigorous organization, moving from concept to final color grade in a single weekend. Tasked with the theme of Anachronism, I directed a film that begins as a comedic homage to 1920s silent cinema (inspired by Buster Keaton’s The General), complete with black-and-white aesthetics and historical irony. The film then pivots into a vivid, colorized fourth-wall-breaking monologue. This transition shifts the tone from lighthearted irony to a deep philosophical reflection on how our past errors and memories shape our future.
